Marisa Rhyne, LVT
Marisa has worked with our hospital since the Summer of 2018. She has worked in numerous practices in the DFW area, including general practice, emergency care and specialty practices since graduating from Cedar Valley College in 1998 with her AAS in veterinary technology. She obtained her BAS in veterinary technology through St. Petersburg College in 2008 and is currently working on her Masters in Biomedical Science through the University of Missouri.
She is currently full-time faculty at Cedar Valley College, teaching both online and on-campus in the veterinary technology program, she also fills in as needed in the certified veterinary assistant programs she started in 2012 at UTA & Collin College. She has obtained 2 veterinary technician specialty certifications, one in Emergency & Critical Care in 2006 and the other in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2009.
She is active in her profession, being a member of NAVTA, VTAT, TVMA, AVECCTN, VECCS, & AIMVT
Outside the veterinary world, she enjoys spending time with her husband of nearly 20 years, her 2 kids and her 6 animals at home (3 cats and 3 golden retrievers). She has always been a cat person and her other hobbies include reading fiction, cooking and watching TV & Movies.

Amanda Murphy, CVA I CertifiedVeterinary Assistant (LVT Student) Fear-Free Certified
Amanda is originally from Northern Michigan and currently resides in The Colony, TX with her husband and 2 cats, Tommy & Abby.
A few years ago, Amanda realized her passion to work with animals. After starting in a clinic in Seattle, WA, she decided she wanted to learn as much as she could.
Currently, Amanda is attending Dallas Community College, working towards becoming a veterinary technician and then on to become a veterinarian. Amanda is currently a CVA I (Certified Vet Assistant and is Fear-Free Certified.
When not working or attending class, Amanda likes to travel with her husband and spend time with family.

Kinsey Eliot, Practice Manager (LVT student) Level 3 Fear-Free certified, CCFVP
Kinsey has been in the veterinary field for more than 20 years! She is Level 3 Fear-Free Certified, a Certified Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional, a member of NAVTA (National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, VHMA (Veterinary Hospital Manager Assocation & VPMD (Veterinary Practice Managers of Dallas).
After working as a technician, she ended up getting her degree in business management, and has gone back to school to work toward obtaining her license as a veterinary technician. She now works hands-on with all the kitties in the practice and oversees the hospital operations. She joined our practice in August 2016 and is excited to share her knowledge of pets such as disease prevention, nutritional needs, convalescent care, or dealing with behavioral issues.
Kinsey's current furry family consists of a Bichon Frise named Elfie, and 2 cats: Presto Aloysius (pictured) and Aurora. She also has two human children that keep her quite busy. :)

Madelyn Sherman, CVA I Certified Veterinary Assistant
Madelyn is a Certified Veterinary Assistant and joined our team in August 2019. She has completed coursework towards her BA in SWBTS in Fort Worth and although new to the veterinary industry, she is dedicated to become a certified veterinary technician. As an animal lover, Madelyn is looking forward to continuing to learn more about cats and their health.
She currently resides in Carrollton with her 2 cats and partner, and is looking forward to providing excellent care to our furry friends.
